The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management is a scientific and educational institution specific to its scientific-research and teaching activities in the field of economic sciences with a particular emphasis on tourism, hospitality, and sustainable development. The Faculty provides an important contribution to the tourism industry of the republic of croatia in the field of science and education of human potential and is positioned as a leader in the higher education system of university staff oriented to tourism management and hospitality field, ensuring the entire vertical of education from undergraduate and graduate to postgraduate, professional, and doctoral studies. The Faculty is a higher education institution in the Republic of Croatia which is closely focused on performance of programs in tourism and hospitality on all three levels of higher education (undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate professional and doctoral studies).
The Faculty gives a great deal of attention to strengthening of cooperation with the economy and the public sector as a whole (business entities, local communities, ministries, system of tourist boards, associations, civil sector), among other things by developing professional studies, projects, expertise, studies, analysis, consulting, providing research and development services, providing consulting services, and reviewing projects. These activities contribute to the development and affirmation of the proactive role of the Faculty in the local community and beyond, in the Croatian society and a broader region.
